The SNJB staff are pleased to announce that our Pedestrian Walkway has been awarded the Overall Gold in Coastal Virginia magazine’s annual reader survey as the region’s Best Place to Hike/Walk for 2019! Successive awards were given to other top Peninsula and Southside area attractions including Windsor Castle Park, Ft. Monroe and the Virginia Beach Boardwalk. Nearly 300,000 votes were cast by the magazine’s readers across 156 categories from Jan. 1 – Mar. 29, 2019. This is our third consecutive year to receive the highest category honor!
