Position Summary
The Asset Business Support Manager (ABSM) manages the day-to-day office administration, operation, and business needs of one or more assets. The ABSM demonstrates leadership qualities and experience. The ABSM has a strong, well-rounded knowledge of office operations and data analytics and is very comfortable “being in the weeds and getting their hands dirty”. This position reports to the General Manager of Operations.

General Duties
Office/Business Management

  • Manages, maintains, and provides technical support for the day-to-day operational needs of office: office space, equipment, maintenance contracts, office leases, etc.
  • May schedule/coordinate meetings.
  • Assists to develop and implement operational policies and processes.
  • Supports the GM in developing and making changes to workflow strategies to improve workplace efficiency, productivity, and goal achievement.
  • Helps create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.
  • Monitors spending patterns and budget while submitting and tracking accounts payable.
  • May support operational and sales projects by coordinating and implementing tasks, tracking, and reporting on progress and results.
  • Maintains office procedures and emergency manual.
  • Orders and stocks all office, kitchen supplies and equipment.
  • Supports corporate programs, reporting and dashboards.
  • Various data entry and analysis: budgets, and other data as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

Customer Service

  • Provides back-up and support to the customer service team on a scheduled and as needed basis.
  • Addresses customer concerns.

Marketing Efforts & Social Media

  • May check and post to social media accounts daily.
  • May assist with tracking and reporting: marketing campaigns, initiatives such as email blasts, social media.
  • May attend and represent United Bridge Partners (UBP) at local events.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in office/business management or executive assistant role.
  • Ability to address customers and the general public.
  • High level of analytical, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and willing to take on workplace challenges.
  • Excellent listening skills and able to take direction from individuals in all levels of positions.
  • Customer relationship building experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Logistics, transportation, or tolling experience a plus.
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and work schedule requirements.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively on multiple projects simultaneously with the capability to pivot with short notice, while working in a fast-paced, flexible, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Works independently with limited management supervision, while being able to collaborate effectively as a team player and jump is as needed to make each asset successful.

  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, or kneeling.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to commute to offices and work-related meetings reliably and on time.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.

Additional Information

  • The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 based on location and will be commensurate with experience.

  • This is not a remote role. It will be in person in our Bay City Bridge Partners office located in Bay City, MI.
