Position Summary
The Inside Sales & Marketing Representative identifies, accesses, converts, & grows the trucking & commercial company trip totals for the use of UBP bridges across the portfolio of assets. This position reports directly to the Bridge Revenue Director.

General Duties

  • Executes weekly plan to grow ADT and customer market share.
  • Makes fifty-plus outbound connections per day, positioning a key message or tailored "Value Proposition" to one of United Bridge Partners' customer segments (trucking, commercial, commuter, leisure).
  • Generates leads and identifies them through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging data sources.
  • Builds customer contact and driver transponder lists to leverage with sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Supports local account management in scheduling key target/decision-maker meetings.
  • Supports key market initiatives inside or outside to launch bridges and address fragmented customer bases ("Independent Owner Operator Trucking").
  • Supports the development and implementation of local segment scoreboards for launch bridges and non-top 20 targets.
  • Develops and executes formal and consistent sales scripts with key messages to targets.
  • Tracks activity and customer progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Executes targeted events to generate leads, gain access, or communicate a key market message.
  • Supports Marketing Lead and initiatives as needed to drive Average Daily Traffic (ADT).
  • Develops and shares best practices for the local account managers to leverage.
  • Prioritizes top trucking and commercial relationships that have the ability to grow.
  • Establishes processes and develops insightful analytics of trucking activity related to the fleets of each trucking company.
  • Leverages United Bridge Partners tools and programs to convert new business and reduce the sales cycle timeline.
  • Supports CRM development and accurate data sets to profile key customers.
  • Works independently with limited management supervision, while being able to collaborate effectively as a team player and jump in as needed to make the asset successful.
  • Travels to internal business meetings, as well as meetings with customers, vendors, or other clients.
  • Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in inside sales, customer service, or outside sales.
  • Specific and measured results showing a track record of primary demand growth.
  • High level of analytical, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Customer relationship building experience.
  • Incentive-compensation sales-oriented.
  • Basic skill set managing a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Microsoft Office Suite, & Sales Navigator.
  • Logistics, transportation, or tolling experience a plus.
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and work schedule requirements.
  • Proven ability to perform effectively on multiple projects simultaneously with the capability to pivot with short notice, while working in a fast-paced, flexible, entrepreneurial environment.

Additional Information

  • The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 based on location and will be commensurate with experience.

  • This is not a remote role. It will be in person at the office or in the field.
